Daniel W. Immer (March 30, 1937 – November 6, 2009) was a professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association for the Chicago Zephyrs in 1962–63. He also played in the American Basketball League for the New York Americans in 1961–62 and the DBA for the Pittsburgh Pipers in 1963–64.
He was born in Chicago and attended St. Stanislaus High School in Chicago. He also attended Northern Illinois University, where he played for the Huskies from 1959 to 1962. A 6’8″ forward/center, Immer played in the American Basketball League in 1961–62, and in the National Basketball Association from 1962 to 1963 for the Chicago Zephyrs.
Immer was a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team in 1962 and the 1964 U.S. men’s national team.

The present invention relates to a picture image forming apparatus. More specifically, the present invention relates to a picture image forming apparatus, e.g., a copying machine, which is capable of forming picture images in a plurality of gradation levels.
2. Description of the Prior Art
The specification of U.S. Pat. No. 4,332,054 to Tadaaki Okamoto discloses an original exposure portion of a copying machine and digital exposure characteristics thereof. More specifically, the copying machine has a photosensitive drum on which are deposited a photoconductive material. Exposure of the photosensitive drum by an optical system is digitally controlled in accordance with image information obtained from an original document. Light from a light source is modulated by the image information obtained from the original document and applied to the optical system, whereby the optical system focuses the modulated light onto the photosensitive drum so as to form a latent image thereon. The latent image is then exposed to toner particles on the photosensitive drum so as to form a visible image thereon. Subsequently, the visible image is transferred to a recording medium such as paper. The toner image transferred onto the recording medium is fixed, after which the paper is discharged.
However, in the copying machine of the above-mentioned U.S. patent, exposure of the photosensitive drum is digitally controlled at all times. Therefore, when the copying machine is operated in a dim environment or when a leading edge of an original document is a dark-colored portion, the density or gradient of the toner image formed on the recording medium is undesirably decreased.

Thought on the ‘Mythic’ System
For those of you just joining us this week, I’ve been posting my attempt to lay down some of the bones of the new ‘Mythic’ format for Eternal. It’s been a huge stretch to try to shoehorn everything that we’ve done into such a brief format, and there are lots of things I feel I still don’t fully understand. So I’m going to leave it here for a week or two, and then come back to it to try to clear up some of the confusion. Also,
