Currently, my password scheme is: I will use a mix of some seemingly random numbers, the numbers of which I will guess, and some letter. The order of guesses will be 25% numbers, 25% numbers and letters, 25% letters, 25% letters and numbers, 25% letters and numbers and 25% letters and numbers and numbers. My guess is that this should be a bit too simple for someone to guess.
The best strategy to make this is the following:
1) Guess a random number.
2) Now the account which i am trying to crack has to send a letter. So we take the letter, and we encrypt it with the guess number. Then we use that encrypted number.
3) Go through the dictionary again and check the one which has the lowest combination of the letters from step 1 and the encrypted numbers.
4) You guessed it, if the user changes his password, i will guess it as well, by using the guess again.
Some examples:
1) Lets say that i guess the password. That would mean that i go through the dictionary, and i find out that the letter is a, so the encrypted password would be [a],[27], and the encrypted number would be [29].
2) But what if the user has changed his password? Well then i guess the new password. This would mean that the encrypted password would be [a],[1], and the encrypted number would be [27].
So we can get the new password by using the guesses. It is possible to write a program to do that, which will find out the new password by iterating through the dictionary until it finds the correct password.
If we now encrypt the guess password [1] with [a] we get [a], which i can try to decrypt with [29] i get the new password [2].
Sorry for the long post, i just wanted to clarify a point that might be confusing.

I’m not sure I follow. In step 2, is this what you do? Is there a typo in your post that I’m not seeing?
I do agree with the point about this being a more than likely set of passwords, but it is easier to guess a number than it is to guess a letter, which is what you need to use for your strategy to work.
